This film’s storyline is rather eerily reminiscent of another film released during the same year: Shringara Kavya. Very odd. The melodrama here is at a higher level, which cannot be assuaged by the actors who are either undistinguished or totally forgettable. One particular theme in the background music has a very meloncholic tone to it which i liked very much. The song Anuragada Alegala Mele is very well composed; but i think it’d’ve been better if it were by sung by the indelible pair of S.P.B and Chitra, as the credited male singer has a very weak voice and the female renders it with a total paucity of passion.
