Dinesh Baboo is a great director with a very unique sense of style; and that is what makes this movie a very good one. If the comedic scenes with Om Prakash rao, Bank Janardhan and Mandya Ramesh had been totally excised(which cause a stark and abrupt tonal change which disturbs the dreary atmoshere that Dinesh Baboo generates) this could’ve been a great film rather than just a good one. Anu Prabhakar and Vijayalakshmi were both very good and appropriately creepy in their limited roles though the rest of the cast is solid. The song Thangali Na was very well composed.

Thangali Na was sung by the keralese singer K.S Chitra and the song Chilipili Guttu was sung by a singer named Jayashree: i’m not very sure about that, but i know that she’s the same singer who sung Ello Jogappa Ninnaramane from Jogi(2005).
