Plot Summary:
| The hero (Upendra), who has been exposed to the sordid side of life right from childhood, becomes a law unto himself, feared and rebuked by all. He calls himself ‘Nanu’, meaning ‘I’. ‘Nanu’ is proud to be a straight-forward, frank human being, who does not hide his feelings, even the unsavoury ones. So the rest of the world, in his eyes, is hypocritical.
A teenaged girl (Damini) falls in love with ‘Nanu’ after understanding what a nice person he is, only to realise that he wants to marry a filthy rich girl (Raveena Tandon) just to lead a luxurious life. ‘Nanu’ pursues his rich prey relentlessly, which leads to bloody fights and deaths ultimately. In between, both girls find our that ‘Nanu’ is a much-married man. Nanu’s logic in wanting all the three women, is madness personified. In his bid to own these women, he not only shows total disregard for their feelings but gets into a vortex from which it appears he cannot extricate himself. (TH) |
