There are some heavy dollops of melodrama here, but the performances by Sudharani, Sithara, Ram Kumar and Kalyan Kumar are so guiless, and earnest and professional that i could overlook the mawkish nature of the film. Worth watching just for the actors; the song Aasegala Lokadali is undoubtedly beautiful: Dr Rajkumar’s rendition of it so wistiful and poignant.
